About the school

The 1st European School on Advanced Materials (ESAM2023) aims to be a forum for discussion on the current status of the different types of advanced material, which comprises:

1. Graphene and other 2D Materials
2. Materials for Energy
3. Smart Materials with advanced functionalities.

During this school the participation of the most active Spanish and European groups in the field of Advanced Materials is encouraged, presenting research results and discussing with the younger generations (master, doctoral and postdoctoral students) about the state of the art in this area. These young researchers are also expected to present their latest results to this distinguished scientific community.

The school is part of the integration and collaboration actions of the Advanced Materials Programme of the Complementary R&D&I Plan.
